Hi,
I'm new to tribe. People always tell me I have great eyes or that my eyes are large. I have bad eyesight, to the point I'm legally blind in one eyes. Sounds strange, huh?

Re: Introductions
Thu, December 9, 2004 - 9:32 PMHey,
Yeah, you do have great eyes. Are they green, gray, or blue. Or, do they change depending on whether you're sick and what you wear?
Do you wear contacts? Glasses? Some of the new frames are sweet. Ever thought about lasik (spelling?)?

Re: Introductions
Fri, December 10, 2004 - 10:55 AMMy eyes are dark blue/grey... What I wear and how I feel effect the depth my eye color. They do change the depth of color but not actually colors.
I wear contacts mostly and glasses sometimes. I do not qualify for lazik (sp?) So I'm happy just to have the vision and eyes I have. -

Re: Introductions
Tue, December 14, 2004 - 9:01 AMSame here. Have blue/gray/green eyes depending on environment and health. The sicker, the bluer. Also, can't do lazik. Instead tried orthokeratology, which improved my vision from 20/200 and 20/400 to 20/15 and 20/35 - without glasses or contacts. Although, some glasses today look sweet.
The coolest part is that I don't need to wear contacts/glasses anymore to pass the driver's eye test. The bad part is that there haven't been any tests for long-term ortho; in other words, what happens to the eye in 50 years. -

Re: Introductions
Thu, December 16, 2004 - 9:04 AMI can't have surgery on my eyes...I'm legally blind in my right eye and it's too dangerous to attempt anything with the left eye. If something went wrong I'd be legal blind in both eyes and I don't want to risk that.
